Genre Classification - Similar films

As part of our research, we looked into the opening 2 minutes of similar films to ours to try and give us an idea of what Classification our film would be. The Genre of our film is Muder Mystery so we tried to look at similar Genres.

Looking at other films based around our Genre, it is quite clear that it will not be an 18. Mystic River is Rated 15, however that has more violence and compared to our film has more blood and gore. Sherlock Holmes (1 and 2) have some violence and some language that may be seen as offencive, however compared to our film it is very similar, giving us the impression that the Classification of our film would be 12 on DVD or 12A cinemas.
